Alison Balter is a best-selling author, an internationally acclaimed public speaker, and motivational speaker. She is a certified life coach and is experienced with business and one-on-one personal coaching. She brings her real-life success to both her coaching practice and her public speaking, helping clients achieve their dreams, just as she has achieved her own dreams.

Alison has written fourteen books on topics, such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SharePoint and receives numerous requests to speak on these topics at conferences throughout the United States. She has also authored hundreds of internationally marketed self-paced learning solutions, which are used by companies, such as Shell Oil, AIG Insurance, Fox Broadcasting, and the United States Navy.

An active participant in many user groups and other organizations, Alison is a past president of the Independent Computer Consultants Association of Los Angeles and of the Los Angeles Clipper Users’ Group. She is also past president of the Ventura County Professional Women’s Network, and is currently serving as their Director of Networking. Alison is a devoted wife and mother to her husband Dan and two children Alexis and Brendan.
